My name is Nisingizwe Albert, a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Rwanda – College of Science and Technology, with a strong passion for computer science, innovation, and community-driven technology. Growing up in a rural village with limited access to digital tools, I was inspired to become a changemaker through tech. I’ve co-founded digital training initiatives like the Agateko Community Learning Hub and led ICT workshops that empowered rural youth with coding and entrepreneurship skills. I’ve served as a class representative and team leader in STEM programs, and I’ve ranked among Rwanda’s top performers in national physics and math competitions. As an ICSC Ambassador, I aim to strengthen the culture of innovation and academic excellence by organizing tech competitions, promoting collaborative problem-solving, and using my leadership roles to engage students in meaningful learning experiences. I believe that by nurturing talent through structured opportunities, we can unlock Africa’s next generation of creators and coders.
