I’m Jianna Lumala, a Senior Three student at Mount Saint Mary’s Namagunga, and yes—I spend way too much time convincing computers to listen to me. (Spoiler: sometimes they win.) I love computer science because it’s basically magic, except the spells are curly brackets and semicolons. As an ICSC Ambassador, I plan to make coding less scary and way more fun. Think workshops where mistakes are welcome, a local coding group where ideas bounce around like Wi-Fi signals, and plenty of encouragement for students to join the International Computer Science Competition. My goal? To prove that coding isn’t just for “geniuses in hoodies,” but for anyone willing to type, debug, and laugh through the errors.
