Hello, I’m Catherine! I am currently studying A-levels in the United Kingdom. I serve as Head of my Computer Science Society and am actively involved in running school clubs where students can explore computational thinking, problem-solving, and new ideas collaboratively. I also mentor younger pupils as they build confidence in approaching unfamiliar and challenging concepts. I believe the most meaningful learning happens when individuals feel supported, curious, and unafraid to ask questions — something that begins with the courage to take the first step. As a student passionate about computer science, I am committed to fostering this kind of environment for others. I value spaces where learning is shared, challenges are approached with positivity and determination, and progress is encouraged at every step. For me, computer science is not only about building computational solutions, but also about developing structured ways of thinking, solving problems with clarity, and learning from others. As an ICSC Ambassador, I hope to inspire greater engagement with computer science, strengthen a culture of support, and create opportunities that empower students to discover their true potential and persevere with confidence.
